A number of arrests were carried out during this week. Offences include: Domestic Violence Assault, Actual Bodily Harm, Breach of the Peace, Excess Alcohol., Theft from a Motor Vehicle, Shoplifting, Grievous Bodily Harm, Burglary, Handling Stolen Goods, Possession of Class A Drugs, Theft of a Cycle, Harassment, Wanted on Warrant, No Vehicle Insurance, Managing a Brothel, Dangerous driving, Taking a Vehicle without Consent, Theft of a Vehicle, Possession of an offensive Weapon, Common Assault, Possession with Intent to Supply Class A Drugs,
Information sought over rape of woman in Chichester city Centre
Detectives investigating the rape of a woman in Chichester City Centre are appealing for information.
Church Road, Singleton – On Wednesday 19 June we received a report of a burglary to a commercial premises. Serial 0160 19/6
Vicars Close, Chichester – On Wednesday 19 June we received a report of a burglary to a property in day time hours. Entry was via a kitchen window that was smashed. A handbag and other personal possessions were stolen from the property. Serial 0398 19/6
Kensington Road, Chichester – On Thursday 20 June, we received a report that a vehicle was broken into overnight into 17 June. Some personal possessions were stolen from the vehicle. Serial 0113 20/6
Florence Road, Chichester – On Thursday 20 June a vehicle was broken into and a number of gift cards stolen. Serial 0639 20/6
East Street, Chichester – On Friday 21 June we received a report of an attempt break to a commercial premises. Damage was caused to the window and door but no entry gained. Serial 0290 21/6
Tangmere Road, Chichester On Sunday 23 June we received a report of a break to stables. Items were stolen from the property including feed and tac. Serial 0557 23/6
Over the week, there were a number of breaks to vehicles at beauty spot car parks. Locations include Stoughton Down, Asdean, School Lane- Compton, West Stoke, Hunters Race – West Lavant, Chidham Lane.
Selsey, The Witterings and surrounding area (WC2)
Bonnar Road, Selsey – Overnight into 20 June we received a report that 3 sheds were broken into. Damage was caused to the doors and a number of power tools stolen. Serial 0272 20/6
High Street, Selsey – On Sunday 23 June a vehicle was damaged and rear window smashed. Nothing was stolen from the vehicle. Serial 0408 23/6
Midhurst, Petworth and surrounding area (WC3)
Taylors Field, Midhurst – On Wednesday 19 June a vehicle was broken into. The window was smashed but nothing was stolen. Serial 1475 19/6
Crossfield, Fernhurst – Overnight into Wednesday 19 June a vehicle was broken into but nothing was stolen. Serial 0496 19/6
Crossfield, Fernhurst – Overnight into Wednesday 19 June a vehicle was broken into and a camera was stolen. Serial 0125 20/6
Petworth Road, Wisborough Green – On Wednesday 19 June a building site was broken into and a Hamm Tandem Roller was stolen from site. Serial 0108 19/6
Graffham, Petworth – On Thursday 20 June we received a report of a farm break where a number of power tools stolen. Serial 0362 20/6
