Storrington bank robber sought by police
A man who robbed Barclays Bank in Storrington on Thursday morning (April 25) is being sought by police.

The man went into the Old Mill Square branch of the bank at 11.10am and demanded cash. He intimated that he had a weapon, but none was seen.

He is described as black, in his 20s, wearing a dark parka jacket and wearing a hat or a hood. He was very quietly spoken.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have seen the man as he left the bank is asked to report online or call 101 quoting serial 420 of 25/04.

Witnesses sought to serious assault in Ashington
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious Ashington assault.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was walking along Viney Close, Ashington in Horsham around 8.30pm on Monday, April 22 when he was assaulted.

He suffered serious facial injuries, including a broken jaw and nose, and was taken to hospital for treatment.

If anyone witnessed the assault or saw anyone acting suspiciously in this area at this time please report online or call 101 quoting 1468 of 25/04.
