Residential Burglary Report (09/12/2019)
 
Dear Citizen

We are considering restarting issuing the Residential Burglary Reports (that unfortunately stopped in the summer due to loss of the volunteer manpower) on a regular basis.  My initial report is provided below and for ease of reading has been split into the various areas across the Borough. We hope that this report is of interest and we would as always value any feedback you may have as to whether you would like this to continue etc.
 
The Surrey Heath Borough has experienced a number of reported burglaries or attempted burglaries to residential properties (including shed break-ins) over the period 2nd to 9th December 2019. Summary details of these are provided in the list below.
 
Bagshot
  • 4th December, 08:02. Duval Place – Resident found study window had been broken.
  • 6th December, 22:12. Yaverland Drive – rear patio door forced entry, untidy search.
  • 7th December, 07:57. Yaverland Drive – rear patio door forced, tidy search.
Camberley
  • 3rd December, 19:16 – James Road  - Jewellery stolen.
  • 3rd December, 23:25 – Krooner Road - During hours of darkness forced entry into rear of occupied property whilst occupants asleep. Disturbed whilst inside and made off on foot through rear garden.
  • 5th December, 23:06 – James Road - Entry gained through back door. Untidy search.  Jewellery stolen.
  • 6th December, 20:39 – Grand Avenue - Entry via breaking the glass pain in back door. Untidy search of the property.
  • 7th December, 01:43 - France Hill Drive. Accessed rear garden via the side passage and smashed a security light at the rear of house. Entry via smashing large glass pain in rear patio door. Untidy search of the upstairs bedrooms.
  • 8th December, 20:54 – Moorlands Road. Shed in garden broken in to and cycles stolen.
  • 9th December, 13:31 - James Road. Forced entry through window.

Chobham
  • 4th December, 20:48.  Bowling Green Road – Forced entry at rear, jewellery stolen.
Frimley
  • 3rd December, 23:24. Merlin Court – Entry via window - cash & jewellery taken.

  • 6th December, 19:04. Sycamore Close – Male in property – left when resident called out.
  • 6th December, 23:37. Montrose Close – Property entered from the rear garden/side gate. External security light wire cut. Entry via smashing patio door. Untidy search of bedrooms
  • 8th December, 19:03. Apex Drive – Door forced to gain entry by three males, departed on being disturbed.
  • 9th December, 13:22. Apex Drive - House has been burgled with untidy search conducted.
  • 9th December, 21:14. Longmeadow – Entry via rear door. Untidy search conducted of the residential bedrooms, jewellery and cash taken.
Frimley Green
  • 5th December, 16:53. Sturt Road – Shed broken into and tools stolen, also attempt to access van on drive.
  • 9th December, 16:35. Guildford Road - Entry via first floor bedroom double-door window by breaking lock from wooden frame. Untidy search of bedrooms.
Lightwater
  • 5th December, 06:27. Blackthorn Drive – Property entered from the rear, cash & jewellery taken.
  • 5th December, 21:50. Guildford Road – Shed lock smashed and doors damaged.
