News and appeals
A number of arrests were made during this week. Offences include, Domestic Violence Assault, Obstructing Arrest, Sexual Assault, Possession of Class b Drugs, Possession of an Offensive Weapon, Excess Alcohol, Drug Driving, Fraud, Driving with No Insurance, Child Neglect, theft of a Motor Vehicle, Attempted Burglary, Theft from a Motor Vehicle, Arson, Drunk and Disorderly, Wanted on Warrant, Grievous Bodily Harm, Assault Police, Malicious Communications, Affray, Common Assault, Criminal Damage, Actual Bodily Harm, Threats to Kill, Stalking, Breach of a Non Molestation Order, Possession of Class A Drugs and Harassment.
Man dies after two car crash near Petworth
Police are appealing for witnesses to a road crash near Petworth in which a driver has sadly died.
Hawthorn Close, Chichester – On Monday 16 September we received notification of a vehicle break outside a property. Tools and equipment were stolen from the vehicle. Serial 0504 16/9
Leather Bottle Lane, Chichester – On Monday 16 September we received a report of a vehicle break. 0712 16/9
Oving Road, Chichester – On Wednesday 18 September a vehicle was broken into and bag of clothing stolen. Serial 0285 18/9
Charlton Mill Way, Charlton – On Friday 20 September a yard was broken into and tractor stolen. Serial 0277 20/9
Selsey, The Witterings and surrounding area (WC2)
High Street, Selsey – On Monday 16 September we received a report of windows at a business premises being smashed. Serial 1537 16/9
High Street, Selsey – On Tuesday 17 September we received a further report of damage to windows of a business premises. Windows had been smashed. Serial 0253 17/9
Piggery Hall Lane, West Wittering – On Tuesday 17 September damage was caused to a tractor kept in a barn. Serial 1330 17/9
Hunnisett Close, Selsey – Between 12 September and 18 September a bag was stolen from the boot. Serial 0031 20/9
Midhurst, Petworth and surrounding area (WC3)
Fernhust Road, Milland – On Saturday 21 September we received a report that a sports club was broken into. Items stolen from the location. Serial 1047 21/9
Hammer Lane, Haslemere – On Sunday 22 September we received a report of criminal damage to a local pavilion. Graffiti was left at the location. Serial 0279 22/9
