Alert message sent 15/08/2019 12:43:00

Information sent on behalf of Surrey Police

Do you recognise this man?

We'd like to speak to him after hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of gold jewellery was stolen from a house in Chertsey last Wednesday (7th August).

Thieves broke into a property in Escott Place sometime between 11am and 2pm and made off with the jewellery, which included the victim’s mother’s 22ct gold wedding set, a large necklace with a floral pattern with matching brooch, ring and earrings, and a number of other sets of jewellery.

Investigating Officer PC Sally Newton said: “The victim has been left devastated as a result of the burglary. As well as the financial loss, the jewellery also had a huge amount of sentimental value and she is heartbroken at not being able to leave any heirlooms for her family".

If you can help, or you have been offered any jewellery matching the description above, please call us on 101, quoting crime reference PR/45190083098 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
