News and appeals
Numerous arrests were made over this week.  Offences included criminal damage, assault police, excess alcohol, possession of Class A, actual bodily harm, shoplifting, stalking, harassment, breach of non-molestation order, dangerous driving, burglary dwelling, threats to kill, wanted on warrant, failure to comply with a Community Protection Notice, possession with intent to supply a Class B drug, theft of motor vehicle, driving whilst disqualified and drug driving. 
Man threatened by shoplifters in Chichester
Police are seeking the identity of two young men in the picture after they threatened a man in Chichester.  Please see the link for full image;
Witnesses sought to commercial burglary in Midhurst
Police are appealing for witnesses following a break in at a commercial premises in Midhurst.
Defibrillator Damaged at Oving Jubilee Hall
We received a report of criminal damage to the defibrillator located at Oving Jubilee Hall, Chichester between the hours of 8pm on May 7 and 9.30 am on May 8.

Free Tool Security Marking Event
We are providing a FREE tool security marking event in conjunction with Southbourne Community Association at the Southbourne Sea Scout HQ on Saturday 18 May between 2 pm and 5 pm.  Come along and your local Policing Team will protect your tools for free.

Neighbourhood Crime Summary (Burglary, Vehicle Crime, Criminal Damage)
Chichester (WC1)
Caernarvon  Road, Chichester – On Tuesday 30 April a property was broken into. Entry was via a back garden window between 8.45 am and 1.15 pm.  Vehicle keys were removed from the property.  Serial 0624 30/4
Caernarvon Road, Chichester – On Tuesday 30 April a property was broken into.  Entry was via a smashed patio door and a watch was taken from the property.  Serial 0886 30/4.
Prinsted Lane, Prinsted – On Wednesday 1 May a vehicle was broken into and personal possessions stolen from the vehicle.  Serial 0538 1/5
 Colworth, Chichester – Overnight into Saturday 4 May 2 ride on mowers were stolen from an open barn.  Serial 0291 4/5
Selsey, The Witterings and surrounding area (WC2)
Reed Close, Hunston, Chichester – On Sunday 5 May we received a report that a property had been broken into between 26/3 and 5/5. 
Midhurst, Petworth and surrounding area (WC3)
Crypt Lane, Cocking – On Tuesday 30 April a vehicle was broken into between the hours of 9.30 am and 6.30 pm.  A handbag containing cash was stolen.  Serial 0041 30/4
Hampers Green, Petworth – On Thursday 2 May a property was broken into during day time hours.  A laptop and jewellery was taken from the property.  Serial 0799 2/5
Lodsworth, Petworth – On Saturday 4 May we received a report of a stained glass window being broken at a Church.  No entry was gained to the location.  Serial 0475 4/5.
