Safe stolen from Shoreham pub
Police are appealing for witnesses after a safe was stolen from a Shoreham pub.
Officers received a report of the Crown and Anchor pub in High Street, Shoreham being broken into around 2.30am on Saturday (March 23) by three or four men.
Around an hour later four men, believed to be the same suspects from earlier, return to the premises and stole a safe.
Investigating officer PC David Slade said: “A safe is a heavy item and a lot of effort would have been required to move it.
“Also a significant amount of noise would have been created when the suspects were moving the safe out of the pub. Did you hear anything?
“We believe the suspects moved the safe towards the river area and put it in the back of a vehicle.”
Anyone with information is asked to report it online or by calling 101 quoting 417 of 23/03.

Man sought over indecency offences near Cissbury Ring
Police are searching for a man suspected of indecently exposing himself to two women near a well-known West Sussex beauty spot
At about 1.30pm on Tuesday (19 March) a woman was walking in the wooded Nepcote area near Cissbury Ring when a man followed her and then carried out an indecent act in her presence.
At about the same time on Friday (22 March) another woman was walking her dogs near Worthing golf club, again near Cissbury Ring when a man indecently exposed himself to her. He followed her but she ran back to the Storrington Rise car park where her car was parked, at the foot of the Ring and he eventually walked away.
Neither of the women were assaulted or directly threatened but both were very upset by what happened.
Police Investigator Hayley Jordan said; "We believe the same man is responsible for both offences. He is described as white, in his late teens to early twenties, between 5’8"-5’10", with dark hair in the style of a mop, and carrying a black rucksack/drawstring bag.
"Local officers have been briefed and are paying extra attention to the area."
"If you think you know who this man is, or if you have had a similar unpleasant experience recently, please get in touch with us either online or by calling 101, quoting serial 787 of 19/03."
