Today, on National Police Memorial Day, we remember the officers and staff who have lost their lives in the line of duty, and those who passed away while serving our communities.
Policing is more than a profession. It is a commitment to others, often made at personal sacrifice. Today, we take a moment to reflect on the courage, dedication and service of those who are no longer with us, and to honour the lasting impact they had on colleagues, friends and loved ones.
Our thoughts are with their families, friends, colleagues and all those who continue to feel their loss.
