Reigate and Banstead Police Safer Neighbourhood Team
Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries, catalytic converter and vehicle thefts reported between the 26th March 2026 to 2nd April 2026. The report also includes information on arrests in the Borough.
Car Crime This week there have been 2 reports of theft from cars, both in the Redhill area. Arrests. There were 44 arrests in the period March 26th 2026 to April 1st 2026: Domestic Incident/Violent Domestic Abuse 9, Rape/Sexual Offence 5, Drugs 2, Prescribed Limit 2, Violent Crime in a Public Place 5, Violent Crime Other 3, Crime Public Order 1, Harassment/Stalking 3, Master Occurrence 3*, Child protection 2, Theft 2, Fraud 1, Crime Other 2, Out Of Force enquiries 1, Custody Issue 1, Absconder/Wanted 1, None of these 1. *A Master Occurrence is used when recording an arrest where a number of offences are recorded for one incident.
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there have been Six reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. The reports included an Rogue Trader (Roof repairs), and Suspected Financial Abuse.

Central Between 27/03/2026 23:00 to 28/03/2026 10:00. Meadow Way, Reigate. Residential Burglary resulting in the theft of a car. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the front door to property. Stolen: Car Keys, Car (BMW) and cash. (PR 45260035793) Between 26/03/2026 23:00 to 28/03/2026 06:00. Green Lane, Redhill. Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the window of an outbuilding of the property. Stolen: Nothing Taken (PR 45260035843) 29/03/2026 Between 09:30 to 16:00. Barons Way, Reigate. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry through the front door to property. Stolen: Nothing Taken. (PR 45260036515) Between 24/03/2026 00:00 to 31/03/2026 09:30.
