Reigate and Banstead Police Safer Neighbourhood Team
Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 5th February 2026 to 12th February 2026. The report also includes information on arrests in the Borough. This week the Update includes catalytic converter thefts reported in the Borough.
Please Note Arrests. There were 47 arrests in the period February 5th 2026 to February 11th 2026: Domestic Incident/Violent Domestic Abuse 6, Rape/Sexual Offence 2, Drugs 4, Prescribed Limit 1, Violent Crime in a Public Place 3, Violent Crime other 4, Harassment/Stalking 2, Hate/Diversity 2, Offensive Weapon 2, Master Occurrence 3, Public Order 2, Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Nuisance 1, Theft 6, Burglary Business/Community 1, Vehicle Crime 1, Child at Risk 1, Child Protection 1, Fraud 3, Licence Recall 1, None of These 1.
Catalytic Converter Thefts There were three Catalytic Converter thefts reported this week, including one attempted theft. Details of thefts can be found in the Vehicle Thefts section of the Update. Bicycle Thefts No residential garage and shed burglaries resulting in bicycle thefts were reported this week.
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there have been three reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. These included a Telephone Fraud with the suspect claiming to be from Amazon and a Telephone Fraud claiming to be from Barclays Bank.
