Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for the last week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 1st January 2026 to 8th January 2026. The report also includes information on arrests in the Borough. Please Note Arrests. There were 27 arrests in the period January 1st 2026 to January 7th 2026: Domestic Incident/Violent Domestic Abuse 8, Rape/Sexual Offence 3, Crime Other 2, Drugs 1, Drunk/Drug Charge 1, Violent Crime in a Public Place 2, Hate/Diversity 1, Violent Crime other 2, Master Occurrence 2, Out of Force Enquiry/Warrant 1, Breach of Bail/Custody related matter 1, Criminal Damage 1, None of these 1. Assault on Police 1.
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there have been two reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. These include a social media market place fraud.
Burglaries North 06/01/2026 00:57, Lackford Road, Coulsdon. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry has been gained through the front door. The suspects were disturbed by the occupant and left the property. Stolen: Nothing Taken. (PR 45260001766) Between 02/01/2026 00:00 to 06/01/2026 18:41. High Road, Chipstead. Residential Burglary resulting in the theft of a car. Method of Entry – Not confirmed at this time, but believed to have been through the conservatory doors. Stolen: Including car keys, car (BMW) and a watch. (PR 45260001819)
Central Between 02/01/2026 12:00 to 03/01/2026 10:24. Marketfield Way, Redhill. Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry into a communal bike store. Stolen: Electric Bicycle. (PR 45260000695) 04/01/2026 Between 16:00 to 18:00. Doods Road, Reigate. Attempted Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry through the shed door. Stolen: Nothing taken. (PR 45260001103) 05/01/2026 18:00. Marketfield Way, Redhill. Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry into a communal bike store. Stolen: Bicycle. (PR 45260001569) Between 23/12/2025 10:15 to 05/01/2026 10:16. Doods Road, Reigate. Residential Garage Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the garage window. Stolen: 2 Mountain Bicycles. (PR 45260001627) 06/01/2026 12:35. Horley Road, Redhill. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Attempted entry through the front door. Stolen: Nothing taken. (PR 45260001939) 07/01/2026 Between 09:00 to 10:30. The Tannery, Redhill. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry –Forced entry through the kitchen window. Stolen: Including 2 Wallets (containing cash and a Bank card), Jewellery, Laptop and a cable. (PR 45260002179) 07/01/2026 17:27. Doods Road, Reigate. Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the outbuilding window. Stolen: 2 Bicycles. (PR 45260002181) 07/01/2026 23:00. Park Lane, Reigate. Residential Burglary resulting in the theft of car. Method of Entry – Not confirmed at this time. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time but including car keys and a car (BMW). (PR 45260002380)
South 04/01/2026 00:02. Greenfields Road, Horley. Attempted Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Attempted forced entry through a window. The suspects. were disturbed by the occupant of the property and left. Stolen: Nothing Taken. (PR 45260000910) 07/01/2026 19:25. Brighton Road, Hooley. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the front door. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time. (PR 45260002265)
