Bulletin 24 December 4th β December 17th 2025
Dear Residents
In the past week two burglaries have been reported where entry was gained via first floor windows.
Before you lock up and leave your house, remember:
If you have a burglar alarm make sure that the sensors are set to cover the upper floors of the house as well as the ground floor
π οΈ Lock away ladders and secure screwdrivers when not in use. Keep all tools out of sight and reach of would-be thieves.
π Under beds, in wardrobes and bedside tables are the first places a burglar will look for valuables. Think outside the box and consider storing jewellery in false bottom drawers, bookcases, or the loft.
The final Bulletin of the year covering the period December 18th to 31st will be circulated on January 1st.
Thank you for your ongoing support to local policing over the past year. I hope you continue to find the Neighbourhood Watch newsletter useful and that as well as offering an awareness of suspicious activity and crime it also keeps you informed of the successes my team have in making arrests and solving crimes in Tandridge. CRIME REPORTS IN YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD
Our Response Team and Safer Neighbourhood Team deal with a variety of incidents. Here are a few they dealt with since the last Bulletin.
Three men have been sentenced for their role in an 'unprovoked, violent and sustained attack' which left a 16-year-old boy with serious injuries.
At Guildford Crown Court on Tuesday, 18th November:
Fabion Parnell, 26 (DOB: 29/12/1998) of Coulsdon, pleaded guilty to attempted grievous bodily harm (GBH), dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified. He was sentenced to eight years and three months in prison.
Harvey Manley, 22 (DOB: 30/12/2002) of Croydon, pleaded guilty to robbery and affray and received a three year and nine-month sentence. He was released at court due to time served having been remanded since his arrest in March 2024.
Adrian Rozpara, 21 (DOB:06/03/2004) of Croydon, was given a two-year suspended sentence and community work requirement after pleading guilty to threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place and affray.
A fourth man, Machas Tuzizila, 29 (DOB: 01/09/1996) of Croydon, previously pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and handling stolen goods. He was sentenced to 10 months in prison at Guildford Crown Court on 27 September last year for his role in the attack.
In the early hours of Saturday, 9th March 2024, two 16-year-old boys were approached by a group of males carrying weapons near Godstone Road in Whyteleafe.
A male identified as Rozpara is seen to be holding a samurai sword around one-metre-long shouting: 'Where are you from?' with Tuzizila also brandishing a weapon.
Shortly after, one of the victims has attempted to ride away on his moped when he was hit by a car driven by Parnell. Parnell struck the victim and then dragged him down the road, running him over again before fleeing the scene.
Manley then approached the victim, kicked and repeatedly punched him to the face and body before throwing him to the ground, rendering him unconscious. Tuzizila tried to intervene before Manley stole the victims coat and made off.
Urgent enquiries to locate all four men involved collaboration from multiple units across Surrey Police and Metropolitan Police. Manley was arrested within two days and a manhunt for Parnell and Tuzizila saw them arrested in April 2024. Rozpara was identified shortly after and arrested in Croydon. All four were charged on the day of their arrest.
DC Blackford from our Criminal Investigations Department said: "This unprovoked, violent and sustained attack against two 16-year-old boys could have had fatal consequences.
"Our investigation has been complex and involved several units and colleagues from across two forces. Thanks to these collective efforts, all four men have been put before the courts to face justice."
There were 32 Arrests in the period December 1st to December 14th 2025 : Domestic Abuse / Violent Domestic Abuse 10 , Sexual Offence 3 , Drunk/Drug in charge of a vehicle 3 , Prescribed Limit 3 , Theft 4 , Violent Crime Other 1 , Crime Vehicle 1 , Child at Risk 4, Criminal Damage 1 , Burglary Residential 1 , Drug Related 1 .
