Bulletin 23 November 20th β December 3rd 2025
Dear Residents Despite the recent incident in Warlingham, thankfully, knife crime in Tandridge is below the national average. Hopefully by working together we will be able to ensure it stays that way. In addition to our normal vigilance on knife crime, twice a year, police forces nationally intensify their operations. What can you do. - Talk to the young people in your life. Start a conversation with them about the risks of carrying a knife. - Report knife crime or anyone who carries a knife directly to the police via Crimestoppers or Fearless. - Remember you are more likely to come to harm if you carry a knife. - We encourage you to dispose of dangerous or unwanted knives and blades at our police front counters across Surrey. - Amnesty bins are in place all year round, and there will be no consequences if weapons are disposed of safely here. Knife Amnesty Bins There is an amnesty bin in the reception of Caterham Police Station. Address: Caterham Police Station 4 Timber Hill Road, Caterham, CR3 6LD
