Bulletin 22 November 6th – November 19th 2025
Dear Residents
Theft of parcels from doorsteps and porches.
With Christmas fast approaching many people are receiving many more deliveries to their homes than usual.
Often these parcels are left on doorsteps, and in porch ways that are visible from the road, and this puts them at risk from thieves who are looking for opportunities to steal.
You can help protect your goods by arranging deliveries for when there is someone at home to accept them or using the various secure lockers and locations many companies have.
Inspector Lyndsey Whatley Tandridge Safer Neighbourhood Inspector
We are continuing to appeal for witnesses following a serious collision which occurred in Oxted on November 15th.
We were called to the junction of Barrow Green Road and Gordons Way around 11.05am following reports of a collision involving a cyclist.
He has been taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
We have spoken to a number of witnesses but are still looking to speak to the female driver of a blue Tesla who we believe may have captured the incident on dashcam.
We are urging her, or anyone else who saw what happened or with any other information, to contact us straightaway quoting ref PR/SYP-20251115-0270.
