Witness appeal following racially aggravated incident in Addlestone |

Can you help our investigation into a racially aggravated incident in Addlestone on Sunday, 2 November? At 11.30am, Surrey Police received a report from a witness who had seen a man shouting racial abuse at a woman outside of Tesco on Station Road. He was also verballing abusing other members of the public. Officers arrived at the scene shortly afterwards, but the woman who was subject to the racial abuse had left. We are looking to identify her so we can speak with her about what happened. The suspect is described as a White man, 5ft 8” tall with short, thin brown hair. A 45-year-old man from Banstaple has been arrested in connection with this incident. He has been released on police bail.
