Dear Residents, Welcome to the Police Update for past week. The message includes personal fraud (Scams), burglaries and vehicle thefts reported between the 30th October 2025 to 6th November 2025.
Please Note There was a linked series of burglaries in the Cheyne Walk area of Horley on 30th October 2025. An individual has been arrested in connection with this investigation and has been released on bail as the enquiries are carried out.
Personal Fraud (Scams) in the Borough. Records show that there have been five reports of Personal Fraud in the Borough during the last week. These included reports of Romance Fraud, a telephone Bank Fraud and Computer Software Fraud.
Burglaries North Between 25/10/2025 00:01 to 01/11/2025 12:00. Mogador Road, Lower Kingswood. Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the shed door. Stolen: Nothing taken. (PR 45250132868)
Central 03/11/2025 Between 08:40 to 18:00. Reigate Hill, Reigate. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the front door. Stolen: Jewellery (PR 45250133662) 04/11/2025 Between 03:40 to 03:55. Fengates Road, Redhill. Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the door to the garden office and, also, then the garden shed. Stolen: Bicycle. (PR 45250133970)
South 30/10/2025 Between 13:15 to 14:20. Cheyne Walk, Horley. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the patio doors located at the rear of the property. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time (PR 45250131941) 30/10/2025. 14:25. The Drive, Horley. Attempted Residential Outbuilding Burglary. Method of Entry – Suspect attempted to enter the shed before being disturbed and leaving the property. Stolen: Nothing taken. (PR 4525131960) 30/10/2025 Between 10:00 to 16:15. Cheyne Walk, Horley. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the rear kitchen door. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time. (PR 452501320009) 30/10/2025 14:00. Cheyne Walk, Horley. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Forced entry through the doors to the rear of the property. The suspect has been disturbed and left the property. Stolen: Not confirmed at this time (PR 45250132067) 31/10/2025 13:00 to 14:00. Ringley Avenue, Horley. Residential Burglary. Method of Entry – Access has been gained to a communal area. Stolen: Package (PR 45250133084)
