Bulletin 15 July 31st β August 13th 2025
With summer holiday season in full swing, holiday makers are flocking in droves to the airports, the beach, and far-flung areas of the UK for some much-needed downtime with friends or family.
But before you build those holiday memories, have you first built a burglar-proof home?
When youβre running through that pre-holiday checklist, make sure to add these to your list: ποΈ Spare keys out of sight: Donβt leave house or car keys in view of windows or doors. If a burglar can see it, they can reach it. Consider putting keyless entry fobs into signal blocking pouches or boxes. ποΈ Social media detox: How much do you share online? Think about how public your profile is before posting your holiday highlight reels when youβre away from home. How well do you know the people who follow you, and how much do you really want them to know? Up your security settings and enjoy a summer holiday social media detox. ποΈ Good neighbours are worth their weight in gold: If you like and trust your neighbour, ask them to keep an eye on your home and pop round on a regular basis to water plants and take in deliveries and post.
