Prolific burglar jailed for a string of break-ins across Leatherhead and Epsom. 

 

Christopher Potter (13/09/1988) from Epsom, pleaded guilty to breaking into eight homes and stealing thousands of pounds worth of jewellry, watches and electronics as well as three counts of fraud by using stolen bank cards. 

He was remanded into custody and today (April 17) appeared at Guildford Crown Court where he was sentenced to four years in prison.

We are looking to speak to these men in connection with the theft of wild bird eggs in Mole Valley. This offence is believed to have taken place between Monday 8 and Friday 12 April.

Claygate Rd Dorking 15/04 17:00 – 16/04/ 05:00 theft from motor vehicle items stolen from include sunglasses and  a few pounds in change.  

 

Guildford Rd Westcott 12/04 14:00 – 15/04 17:30 delivered items stolen while owner away from home.  

 

Chalkpit Lane Dorking 08/04/24 12:00 –15:00 Theft of parcel from communal area of flats. 

 

PC Johnson 42289 was out in the neighbourhood of Leatherhead this afternoon (Tues 16th Apr) handing out leaflets about cannabis. If you can smell cannabis in your neighbourhood please reach out to Surrey Police and make them aware.
