Residential Burglary and other Crime Report

2nd to 15th March 2024 

Dear Surrey Heath Residents

Please find below details of the currently reported burglaries (or attempted burglaries) to residential properties (including shed break-ins) as well as other crime statistics over the past week 02/03/24 to 15/03/24.  Summary details of these are provided in the list below.

Please note, where known I have used the approximate actual incident date/times rather than date the incident was reported (as there can be differences).

 

BURGLARY BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY – 5

06/03 17:00 - 07/03 15:53. London Road, BAGSHOT. Rear doors have been forced at the property. Various tools have been stolen.

09/03 12:00 -11/03 07:00. Wilton Road, CAMBERLEY. A hole had been drilled above the handle of a commercial unit.

 

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY – 4

02/03 20:40. Westwood Road, WINDLESHAM. Offenders have broken into the rear of the property smashing a window. An untidy search had been carried out.

02/03 20:35. Westwood Road, WINDLESHAM. occupant has heard a rattling coming from downstairs back doors. This has alerted the occupant, who then shouted at the offenders, who then run away.

29/02 22.00 - 03/03 16:30. Copse End, CAMBERLEY. Offender has entered the property via the rear garden and drilled the lock. Various items taken.

06/03 18:00 – 07/03 14:00. Waverley Drive, CAMBERLEY. Security light had been taken down, the lock on the back door had been knocked through and door kicked in. No items taken.

Theft from Motor Vehicle – 6

07/03 04:06 - 04:08. Commonfields, WEST END. Suspects have been seen on CCTV arriving on a motorcycle. They then walk across the road to informant’s car and enter the car taking various items.

06/03 22:30 - 07/03 06:00. Great Barn Crescent, WEST END. Informant has gone to open the car to find driver’s door was jammed up. Vehicle had been searched and items stolen from the boot.

07/03 21:35 - 21:45. London Road, BAGSHOT.  Power tools stolen from the back of a vehicle.

07/03 22:00 - 08/03 04.20. London Road BAHSHOT. Entry was gained to the back of the van via the side door causing damage. Various power tools taken.

03/03 21:00 - 04/03 07:02. Chatsworth Heights, CAMBERLEY. Vehicle broken into and theft of new power tools.

12/03 15:30 – 13/03 08:30. Frimley Road, CAMBERLEY. Informant has noticed that multiple power tools have been taken for the back of their van.

 

Theft of Motor Vehicle – 2

03/03 20:00 – 04/03 07:00. Academy Close, CAMBERELY. Overnight keyless theft of motorcycle.

05/03 03:32 - 03:35. Lime Avenue, CAMBERELY. Owner has disturbed 3 males trying to steal their car. Offenders then left the area.

To provide a further idea of the criminal activities of the Surrey Heath Police neighbourhood and response teams in the past two weeks, there were 251 new incidents/occurrences being investigated during this period. A summary of relevant incidents by crime type is given below.

Theft (including shopping lifting) – 28
