Runnymede Borough Commander Ian Nash joined the Mayor of Runnymede on Monday for the raising of the flag to celebrate Commonwealth Day

PC Roxburgh, who has joined the Specialist Neighbourhood Team on attachment, was out attending various emergency calls in the borough, including locating a person in crisis on the M25 bridge, and attending a suspected burglary in progress on the other side of the borough. In amongst these calls, she found time to engage on foot patrol with the community on Brox Road, Ottershaw following complaints of poor parking; reassuring residents and advising people where to appropriately park. This is just a snapshot of just one of our Officers out in the community. Each of our Officers have been out attending various jobs to safeguard the vulnerable, patrolling priority locations, and attending emergency calls across the borough. They do this day in day out to help make Runnymede a safer place to live, work and visit.

PC Langtree has been out on high visibility cycle patrols around Thorpe, Pooley Green, Hythe, Egham Town and The Causeway this week. It’s been a while, but cycling in temperatures close to zero, and heavy rain, wasn't particularly appealing over the winter! PC Langtree patrolled alleyways and parks and completed a stop and search, two intelligence reports, and enjoyed engagement with dog walkers and school students.
